The Applications field is not consistently used throughout the Registers and may contain incorrect values. However, the use of the string “AAF” in this field (as of May 2017) is almost completely correct in identifying the entries that are included in “AAFMetaDictionary.h” v1.143 (dated “2009/07/28”).
